Title: Set up w/o user gallery
Post by: rknight111 on November 20, 2006, 07:35:47 AM
I am trying to set up with 2 gallery's Snowmobile and the other atv, I wanted the users to pick a catagory and put there photos in the catigory they wish.  All it lets me do is have the users put in User gallerys. How do I change this??

And is it hard to put video' s in

You (as an admin) should create public albums under categories and then set the visitor can upload properties of each album
Read doc for more info

Could the visitor set up the album themselves for example I have the catagory "Snowmobiling"  i wanted the user to set up a gallery themselves, "Valemount April 26"  and then they can put there pics in that album.  Is that possible?

Thanks for your quick response.

Non-admin users can't create albums in public categories. They can only create personal galleries (if you allow them to do so). No workaround, no hack.

Thanks, I figured it out.  Great program, I swiched over from Photo post pro which I bought 2 months ago, lots of errors and things were too difficult.  This is alot easier for all to use.
