Hi everyone :)
Im having a slight problem with installation, I'm wondering - should I have to create my own tables when installing this program?
I'm running the installation program and I got an error telling me such and such table did not exist, so I went into my mySQL umm..thingy...and created the proper table on the coppermine database I'd created, which fixed that error, but now I get this error:
mySQL Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
I have no idea what the heck that means or how to fix it....any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong to even make it make me create my own tables? :?:
You shouldn't have to create any tables, the install should have done it for you. Which table/s were not created?
the users table is the one I got the error for, bu tno other tables were present in the database either.
Should I re-upload the files and try again?
Sounds to me like like a duff install. I suggest you download a new copy of coppermine,in case it was corrupt files that caused it, then re-install.
Remove tables that were created, and delete the include/install.lock and include/config.inc.php files, before overwriting the files.
Then try to install again.
Also, have a look at this thread, http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=3548
yup, that must have been what it was, I re-downloaded, then re-uploaded, and everything went easy as pie.
Thanks for the help :)
