Title: Problems with "User's Galleries" permisions
Post by: ReFleX on November 29, 2006, 02:50:09 PM
Hi!, I'm trying to add "user's galleries" to my coppermine gallery. I give permisions to registered users to create personal albums. New users can create them... but old users (before i change permision) CAN`T. I really dont know what could be.. if somebody know about it and can give me a hand...

Another question. Can I allow only ONE album per user?? I search in docs but i dont really find anything about that.

Thanks!!

Now it works for registered users but not for Administrator... can Admins have their personal albumns?

You can create your own private albums, as well as public ones , by creating them in the '*My Gallery*' category at the Album Manager.

However there's little point for the admin to restrict himself only to have personal albums. The entire gallery is his, so why would you possibly go for less. Using the public galleries, you have more freedom in structuring your albums.

However, you appear to have discovered that you assign permissions to have personal galleries (user galleries) on the groups page - I'm just posting the obvious for the benefit of others who might come across this thread. Details can be found in the docs, which should be your first step (before posting questions) anyway.
We'd appreciate if you resolved your support requests in the future by posting what you actually did to solve your issues, or by replying that advice posted by a supporter worked as expected (for the benfit of others).
