Title: How to remove some standard links
Post by: boolbo on February 20, 2004, 08:13:41 PM
Dear Users and support staff,

I have a question for you: I wish to know what is the file I have to modify in order to remove some of the standard links proposed in the installation ZIP pack. For example I don't use the ratings function, or comment too.
So, I would like to remove the links "last comments", "Top rated"....

Could you help me to remove this stuff? ;-)
(maybe, without brake the right functionality of the coppermine system)

Thank you a lot!!

it's in the documentation (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/docs/index.htm#changing) that comes with coppermine...

Hi GauGau,

Sure thanks to yuor instruction I could have no content in some links as last comments etc...but the link in the menu it remains!

Please try you too at http://www.images.boolbo.com
You'll find the "last comments" link without any content, because i have removed the code "lastcom" form the config file....but you could still see the link even if it is empty. So, I would to remove not only the content but the link too...I mean from the menu bar. I think there is a php file (maybe the header?) that I could edit in order to remove the links I don't want...
