Title: PUZZLED
Post by: drweb on December 11, 2006, 06:46:20 PM
Hi - this software is excellent, and I am starting to design my own template.  However I have no idea, where I can add text to the {CUSTOM_HEADER} or the {FOOTER} or the {VANITY} bits.

Where is the data for these files held???

Please help someone.

{VANITY} (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#vanity_block)
{CUSTOM_HEADER} / {CUSTOM_FOOTER} (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_theme_include_path_start)

Thanks for that reply - but it really doesn't help me.  Perhaps I didn't put the question right in the first place.

What I want to know it the exact location in the coppermine folder where these files are referenced, so if I want to edit {VANITY} where would I find that file or where is the data referenced.  I don't seem to ba able to find any location for stuff like header data or anything.

Sorry to be thick but although a great programme it doesn't seem as logical as other opensource I've used - any ideas?

Don't edit the vanity footer source. Just turn it off if you don't need it and create your own custom footer.
