Title: pages spread out
Post by: Bloom on December 15, 2006, 03:30:48 AM
I am having a huge problem. How do I change the look of the page numbers? Mine are currently like this:

(https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi4.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fy125%2Fdramaqueen3000%2Fspread.png&hash=dab9f930bffc040319d26ea3b6500ce72a6f8977)

but I want to make then neater and position them to one side and in little squares, like this:

(https://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi4.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fy125%2Fdramaqueen3000%2Fneat.png&hash=0d9e11ef5913ef7ff748c575c8dc282edbbf97d4)

is there a code i can use? If so, where do I add this code?

Upgrade to the most recent version (currently cpg1.4.10) - this flaw has been fixed.

but if I upgrade, will I have to start the gallery all over again? I have over 5000 images, and I dont want to have to replace them
are you sure there is no special code I can use?

Upgrading doesn't mean starting from scratch. If you do exactly as suggested in the upgrading section of the docs, nothing can go wrong and you won't lose anything.
Upgrading doesn't only cure the minor visual flaw you complain about, but a severe security flaw as well as some other minor issues. That's why we release new versions - if the changes would be just a small edit, we would not release a new version and tell everybody to upgrade. It is mandatory to upgrade.
