Title: Is there a category list?

I am wondering if there is such a category list (just like "Keyword list" in the search page).
I want to display all the categories I have created in a box rather than the traditional way CPG displays the categories. I have been searching the forum for this, but found nothing.
Any help appreciated! Thanks!

How can I have a dropdown box with categories together with the search bar to narrow the search down to categories.

I am looking for something that will display the categories just like the on on this site. (its in spanish but you can get the idea)

The other concept is narrowing down the search with a dropdown box for the search function.

I think he is asking for a sort of pulldown menu in order to narrow search (such as color, orientation, etc ... as in the example link)... I have
seen around in this forum an example (with link) where someone filtered in the search the camera lens type ... but i can't find it anymore :-[
