Post by: charlie_lab on December 20, 2006, 02:39:48 PM
Hello,

A few day's i try to get the bridging between Joomla and Coppermine right.

Joomla version : 1.0.11
Url : www.tamarawobben.nl

Coppermine install: http://www.tamarawobben.nl/gallery2/
Forum install: http://www.tamarawobben.nl/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: SMF 1.1.1
Test user account: test/test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  www.tamarawobben.nl
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  1
Cookie name/preifx

With this settings i get a error : critical error : something get wrong in getting things of the database.

What am i doing wrong here ??

Forum URL:  www.tamarawobben.nl
If your forum is located at http://www.tamarawobben.nl/forum/, then set up the URL accordingly.

The bridge manager is looking for a file named "configuration.php" because you haven't specified the proper bridge file. Re-run the bridge manager and select "SMF" as app you want to bridge with.

oke, that's working
but now the gallery is not a part of the layout of the website.

That's expected behaviour when bridging to SMF.

oke,

Is it possible to make Coppermine part of the layout of my website or do i have to make a coppermine template to do so.
