Title: memory_limit problem
Post by: marceln on December 23, 2006, 09:58:32 AM
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1632 bytes) in /www/110mb.com/m/a/r/c/e/l/_/_/marcel/htdocs/gallery/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 262

I know, i read the FAQ, i should increase memory_limit

but i have my memory_limit set on 16MB !

in faq you guys say that these 16MB are shared for whole gallery + uploading process,

is there any way to lower Memory needs of gallery , so it would be more free space in memory for uploading pictures?

thanx

the memory usage when you upload pics is not the image size

eg. a pic from my digicam (3504 x 2336 8bits 3channels -> 24bit color depth) needs approx 40mb mem

follow the upload troubleshoot guide

1600x1200 should not need more than 9-10mb
