Title: Admin config menu .. no 'apply changes' button
Post by: slicermdm on December 24, 2006, 06:59:50 PM
Just installed yesterday. Tested adding a pic -- worked fine. Wanted to change the theme but noticed there's no option / button anywhere on the admin config page to save changes.

Last item on the page is under Thumbnail view:

Display album description                O Yes   O <label for="alb_desc_t0

Looks like the script broke up during the "O No" option ...

Any ideas?

It's a known problem with some hosts - who are you with?

If you're looking into this, that's cool.

But I was just wondering, since this is a 'known problem with some hosts', is there a possible fix? or do I just need to use a different photo album?

Thanks.

The problem is related to server setup, I don't know of any workaround for it.

I thought of a some-what idea on what to do. I know on myspace profiles it is possible to work around this problem, using kind of like an auto submit button, in which you save something on your favorites, and click it, and it just submits as if there was a button. Let me know if you can do this, if you can, I'll find you the link.

The problem is that your server times out before the page is fully loaded. Ask your webhost for a fix, don't try finding a magical "auto-submit button".
