Have you looked at cpg/themes/theme_name/theme.php ?

Is that what you're after?

Title: How to add navigational links to album

I need help in adding navigational links to my forum leading to other parts of my site at the top and bottom of the album.
I'll prefer a step wise procedure on how to do this.
Am currently using the default theme.
(Ps is it a different procedure if I want to do the same to all my themes and where do I go to get a preview of the various themes before I download them.)

you'll get a preview of all themes that are available for download on the demo (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/) - look for the dropdown list that initially has "default" as selected entry: that's where you choose the theme.
