Hey guys. I got my gallery up & running yesterday.

And i have uploaded some files & were uploaded succesfully but nxt time i uploaded images then it wasnt working. I tried a file i already uploaded & wont upload it. It came up the same thing as someone put up on here.

Message:

The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files.

And i followed the instructions an admin gave them & this is what it comes up with:

Re-read the thread you refer to. The thread starter asked the same incomplete question and was told what to do exactly. The very same thing applies to you: read the upload troubleshooting section and do as suggested there.

But iv already chmod to 777.

And it was working when i uploaded the pics u see on there & then nxt time i went to upload it came up. Iv cheaked my folders & are set to what i was told to do!!

Don't check, but apply! Read the permissions section carefully - it's mandatory that you understand how permissions work. For your server setup, other permissions may be correct. Also make sure that the corresponding section in Coppermine's config is set up properly as well.

YAY. I friggin fixed it.

Went through config. This is now officially solved & hope it never happens again.
