Title: Bulk upload from Linux?
Post by: pax on January 03, 2007, 05:58:42 AM
I was wondering if there is any linux utility which enables bulk uploading in a similar fashion to the XP wizard.  Is there any other better way to bulk upload from Linux (rather than ftp/batch add).

Fantastic.  This looks like just what I had in mind.  I mostly use Gnome right now, but perhaps this will be enough incentive to switch.

It will work just as well under Gnome provided you have KDE intstalled on the system

Thanks for the tip.  I'll give it a try and let you know how I go.

Thanks a lot Aditya et al, Koppermine is a great tool.

For information, I installed Koppermine on Ubuntu Dapper, which required the packages xlibs-dev, kdebase-dev, and libqt-mt-dev.  No problems otherwise.

One suggestion (which is really for the API) would be that a method to create albums would greatly enhance the utility of the program.

Thanks again,

(I would have posted this in the Koppermine thread, but that appears to be locked)
