Title: New Install Question: Remove random/recent image boxes?

HI,
  Is there a way to eliminate the random
and recent image boxes on the gallery main
page?  I see no such option in admin, I am
using the classic theme.

  The manual is not really clear on how to turn this off. 
After looking at the album list view, I figures to just remove
the items from the horizontal listing; and this worked fine.

Not related to installing, moving accordingly. As Kegobeer suggested, this is covered in the docs and has been asked frequently.
