Title: Problem logging in as admin and uploading - vBulletin 3.6.4 integration
Post by: dixie on January 12, 2007, 04:52:01 AM
I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and vBulletin 3.6.4:
When I enabled integration, it picks up the username from vBulletin, but there is no option to create an album or to upload any photos for the person.

Also, when I log out of coppermine, I get logged out of the vBulletin forums as well.

I tried to disable integration by typing in my original admin setup that I created coppermine admin with, but it does not recognise the username and password, even though I know what it is and wrote it down so I wouldn't forget.

Coppermine install: http://carandimage.com/gallery/
Forum install: http://carandimage.com/forums/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: vBulletin 3.6.4
Test user account: copperminetest / test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://carandimage.com/forums/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/
Use post-based groups?:  yes
Cookie name/preifx (if applicable) - not sure what do do here.  My vbulletin cookies have ci as a prefix.

I have now found how to upload files - I had to enable the usergroup to do so.

OK, when a user logs out of coppermine, it tries to log them out of vBulletin as well, but an error occurs.  Is this possibly a cookie related problem?  My vBulletin cookies have a prefix of ci.

Also, how do I allow another vBulletin user to have admin rights in coppermine as well as myself?

It's a limitation of the bridge file. The logout page wants to be passed a logout hash (for security reasons I suppose) but the bridge does not know what the logout hash is.
