Title: Different layout of film strip
Post by: dereksurfs on January 15, 2007, 11:33:46 PM
Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to take the single row/multi column layout of the film strip and place the thumbs in a multi row/multi column layout to the left or right of the intermediate image (displayimage.php).  Here are just a few examples of this effective looking style:

I realize it really won't be a film strip anymore.  But the functionality is basically the same.  The only difference is the layout of the thumbs (multi vs. single row) to right or left of the primary image.

Thanks for any suggestions or ideas on this style/approach.

Thanks GauGau,

I'll take a look at the code for a verticle film strip when I get home from work tonight.

Do you also think it would be possible for the single column functionality to be altered to allow for multiple rows/columns (i.e. - 5 rows by 3 columns thumbs)?

Thanks,

- Derek
