Title: ecard database error
Post by: rickdrew on January 22, 2007, 09:27:22 PM
When I click on the ecard link when viewing the image, I receive a generic

Critical error

There was an error while processing a database query

Any suggestions on where to get started?  I checked the log, but no error was generated.

Could this be caused by bridging with another application?

Thanks

Rick Drew

Enable debug mode in config and post the mysql error message you receive (not the entire debug output) when you replicate the error.

Here 'tis.....

Man, you guys are fast!

While executing query "SELECT *, login AS user_name,
                                                                                email AS user_email,
                                                                                added AS user_regdate,
                                                                                 AS user_location,
                                                                                 AS user_website

                                                                                FROM  `bright48_membership`.amember_members WHERE member_id = '5'" on Resource id #16

mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AS user_location,
                                                             ' at line 4

Looks like missing information in whatever bridge file you are using - some variables are not defined.

I'm starting to discover that this "fully integrated" plugin aMember sells is nothing of the sort and in fact has broken numerous features in Coppermine.  I looked at a lot of gallery programs and really, really (really!) prefered Coppermine over other programs out there (and I have usd a few of them!)  If they can't resolve them, I'm dumping the aMember software.

Thanks
