Title: Simple Question
Post by: Jes001 on February 17, 2007, 01:29:39 PM
Hi there, I'm using the "Rainy Day" template and style sheet for my photo gallery, and would just like to know one thing.
I don't want to change the entire theme, as it's simple and I like it. All I want to do is add a main banner where the heading is (the name of my photo gallery). I'm not too sure where I can go into and where in the code I must put it, etc. If anyone can help me out with that, I'd really appreciate it a lot.

Thanks!
A

In the template.html file, find and edit this line to include your banner
<td width="100%" style="background-image:url(themes/rainy_day/images/template_r2_c2.gif)">

[EDIT] I forgot to add that the banner will need to have the same gray color background or it might not match the areas above and below but you can always try to see if it works for you.

Sorry, last question. I've saved the background image that it gave me into photoshop so that I could see the dimensions, etc, and I've just edited it, but yet when I upload it, it seems too small. I don't know how to explain it properly, so here's the link where you can check it out (I've even tried increasing the width but it doesn't help):

Thanks. :)
