Title: Cannot run slideshow in IE7
Post by: Rcostello on February 20, 2007, 05:33:01 PM
I cannot get the slide show function to work in IE7.  I works in previous versions of IE and all the other browsers.

Here is a copy of my link set for a slideshow.

Can anyone let me know if there is a fix for this browser issue

Do you get any javascript error messages?

Yes I get an error message only in ie7.   I also noticed that both the error message and the slide show problem are showing up on other coppermine sites as well.  I couldn't get the slide show to work on the demo on this site as well.  Again this is only happening in ie7

I understand that, that's exactly why I need more information. Post the actual error message for example.

Fixed it.  I downloaded IE7 last week and upon inspection of the settings found out that the factory download of IE 7 does not have java script enabled. If only everyone in the online world decided to boycott Internet Explorer and do all their web browsing on Firefox the world would be a better place!
