Title: Deleted Users
Post by: Mauritsvink.net on February 26, 2007, 08:26:58 AM
Dear members,
yesterday, I wanted to delete a spambot "elisha7486" in the "usermgr.php" page. In steat of i selected this user, i selected the whole page en deleted 24 users. The photos, which were uploaded are still on the gallery, but now they are uploaded by an IP adresss.

Can I recreate the profiles and replace the IP-adresses by the new user?

An example of what i mean is "http://www.busfoto.nl/foto/displayimage.php?pos=-5878"
The " (81.207.222.23[81.207.222.23])" have to changed into the user "panlink".

Sorry for my bad english.

I'd say restore the MySql user table from a backup.. assuming you actually do make backups.

or restore just the part of the usertable you deleted (in phpmyadmin). Alternatively you can (if you remember who uploaded the photos)  create new users with exactly the missing uids on database level (or creating new users and change their uid to the missing ones). You need to know what you do!!! If not done already a new backup is mandatory
