Hi, I'm new to coppermine. Could someone tell me how I canmake an album public so any registered user can upload a picture into it. I seem to be having problems.
Thanks

It's all in section 4 of the documentation.

Make sure to edit the properties of the individual album the uploads are supposed to go to as well.
I have the same question too, so...

But it is possible to make only for one group, and others would be able to watch it.
Meaning, I want to make the album viewable by everyone(_Guest) but uploadable only by Resgistered.
??? How it can be achieved?

have been thinking on this topic.
So I put people whom I wanted to let upload photos into the Administrators group.
It is EXTREMELY bad, I know, but it's the best decision for now IMHO.
I trust them, yes, but to exclude any s**t with them editing config, I simply remopved the {ADMIN_MENU} block from the
template.html in my current template.
It is not that good, but better than nothing.
Maybe this idea would be useful for anyone.
yeah i wouldn't do that...ever...removing the link is not at all secure. It may be alright for you if you know the few people personally but shouldn't be recommended or done by anyone else.
An administrator has the ability to delete/change anyones files and totally mess up a website. There are so many options built into coppermine for managing permissions that you shouldn't need to resort to this.
Read the manual: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#cat_alb_pic
