I have tried modifying it again and still no joy. i am using the igames template and it differs from what the hack says to do. I am very new to php and I feel I am just amking a larger mess of it.
Can anyone help?
Nathan
The account you posted is an admin account. You should not post admin access details on an open board, for your own security.
I have edited your post. Please change the user to registered, then re-post the account log-on.
Hi Nathan,
The mod is there, but I think you have mis-understood what this mod does. It allows each category to have a 'biography', of the category subject. If you click on 'categories' in the admin menu, you will see the input box is there. It can only be input by an admin, not the user.
What I think you want is a mod to add pics and info to the profile. Such a mod is available. See http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=3504

what I am wanting to have is a artist bio section that vistors can click on to see who the person is, a photo as well would be good. I am now confussed by your last post If this is part of the profile section I must be doing the wrong hack.
Many thanks for the help

Hi Nathan,
It's not just you who's confused  I saw your site, with no categories, only 8 user albums.
The mod you have done, provides you with a bio for an artist, available in the category decription. This means you have to have a different category for each artist, and it's you, the admin, who has to fill in the bio, your users cannot. I don't know if the mod allows the insertion of a pic. Try using bbcode to see if it works.
The mod I was talking about, and which I thought you wanted, was for individual users to put their bio and pic in their profile. Sorry if I confused you.
I have applied the mod that you posted and after finding a missing comma in the script (my fault) It is working fantasticly. Just what I wanted.
Many thanks to you all.
