Title: Problem with intermidiate pictures
Post by: locomotion1 on March 30, 2007, 11:18:16 PM
Hey everyone.

I hope you can help me with my issue. Ok when you upload a somehwat big picture an intermidiate picture gets created and also the normal thumbnail right.
I had my gallery with several pictures when i moved from host, I backed up all my image folders and the MYSQL
ans then i restored the gallery, but it seemed like several pictures didnt go through(some thumbnails, normal size and original pictures
specially the intermediate pictures, so for example you could see a good thumbnail in my gallery but if you click it you get a RED X for the intermediate picture but if you click it you get the Original file....

is there anyway to like create the intermediate pictures again?

thanks alot.

Yes , If you have orginal pics on server then you just need to run Admin Tools from admin menu and then select Update thumbs and/or resized photos

perfect! that solved my issue, i cant thank you enough!

one question about this methid, i noticed theres a 30 secs timeout
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded

is there anyway to increase this 30 sec limit to lets say a few more seconds?

It's server side limit you should ask your host to increase it and most of the time they did not change this on share boxes
instead you can change Number of processed images per click to something smaller (e.g, 25)
