No, that's wrong - you're drawing false conclusions: your PID count has risen to 18,000. This doesn't necessarily mean that you're suppossed to have 18,000 pics inside your gallery.
Posting a link to your gallery that you're having issues with might be a good start. If there are actually broken links (missing pics), a deep link to the page that displays the missing link might be good, as supporters are reluctant to hunt down missing pics if you have 13,000 of them that are actually there.
Describe the problem in detail that you're actually having issues with instead of blindly guessing for possible reasons.
If you're having issues uploading pics (I guess so, as you started your thread on the uploads sub-board), read the upload troubleshooting section of the docs and do
exactly as suggested there!
