Title: user upload limits
Post by: tassiedivers on April 11, 2007, 10:18:11 AM
Hello there

I have just installed Coppermine on my Scuba diving website located at http://www.tassiedivers.com/

I am very impressed with the software and its functionality but have one minor issue. My users can only upload a maximum of 1024kb per account. I need to make this around 20-30mb for now

I have looked right through the documentation and over the forums but cant find out how to change this limit.

The only thing in config I could find that was set to 1024 was the upload limit for a single file

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers
Cubjo

Using the search option, search for "user quota", would have given you this thread:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=38707.0 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=38707.0)

Setting the Registered user group to 0 (zero) quato means they have unlimited. Setting it to 20480 would give them 20mb quota.

Reading the documentation (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#group_cp) that comes with coppermine and that is mandatory to read before being allowed to ask questions would have had the same result ;).
