Title: Getting More information on registration
Post by: ciardini on April 20, 2007, 06:27:34 PM
Hi, im setting up a gallery for a nightclub i work in, bassically i want people to register before viewing photos, thats fine, but i want to get there address and phone number, so we can send promotional items to them and text messages, i need to add a compulsary address and phone number entry box, then store it in the database, but only be visable to the admins, if visable at all, i can retrieve it directly from the database myself. I just need it to be added, and obviously not seen by other users! Any ideas anyone? Anything will be great,

That's what the custom user fields are meant to be used for. They are being display for regular users as well (when viewing other user's profiles), so you'll just have to edit the profile screen and hide those fields for non-admins.
