What i must chance in displayimage.php to make it open html file insted of fullsize image. Ihave html file in same folder with same name.
I will use imagemap title tag to show persons an more in picture.
I use link in fullsize window, but it will be nicer open it direct. It also opens way to add explanation
and more in popup window.
I am not able to code but tiny chances i can hopefully do.

I suggest reviewing the miniCMS (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=15543.0) plugin instead: it will alow you to add content to any coppermine-driven page without the need to create another HTML page. The textual content can reside on the intermediate image page, which is what end users would expect. Particularly in terms of search engine friendliness we can't recommend storing additional information in a window that opens using a JavaScript-driven Pop-Up.

I install the plugin and it is fine. But there is not easy vay to add imagemap or onmouseover to image. Anyway i must do all area tags to every image. So to chance "jpg" to "html" will be fine.

Please note: this is not that trivial to accomplish for newbies, I really recommend doing as suggested and posting a real-world example and what you actually try to accomplish using an image map. I'm 90% sure that what you're up to could be accomplished more easily.

The real life need for imagemap is that with tooltip I can show peopels name easily. It is better than write " second line from left name, name, neme and so on. I can think that when mouse point to person it opens tooltip with link to sql guery of person other images, home of birt and so on.

Try "Flikr style image annotations (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=41715.0)" instead of some complicated image map solution that needs a lot of extra editing.
