Title: Integration & set-up help required
Post by: spiritburner on May 20, 2007, 04:27:35 PM
My budget is $250 - Paypal only

My site: http://www.spiritburner.com/
My phpbb forum 2.022): http://www.spiritburner.com/forum

My forum consists of 4 discussion forums & a for sale/wanted section.   I want to move the rest of my static site into the forum under 3 new categories  'Information Resources'  'Image Galleries' & 'Events'.

I have already started the process but the new categories are currently hidden.   So far so good for text & single image content.

I have a lot of multi-page catalogues & photo galleries e.g http://www.spiritburner.com/primus1922catalogue.htm
&  http://www.spiritburner.com/spiritburner/collectors_spiritburner_01.htm I want to move across to the phpbb.

I would like to be able to create within a topic, thumbnail galleries which link to larger images, with forward/back navigation within that gallery.

I would like the ability to create galleries & to add to them to be open to all registered members but ONLY in the  non-discussion part of the forum.  I would also need it setting up so any submissions have to be approved my a mod or admin first.

I would also like any pictures uploaded to galleries to be hosted on my space - not in the users Photobucket account or similar - in case of account closures causing broken images.  I'd need control of what size image can be uploaded.

I'm quite happy for the discussion part of the forum to continue without any image functionality (users there can use their Photobucket accounts).

The current look of the forum is to remain with the Coppermine integration only visible as extra functionality in certain areas.

The work I need doing is the integration & set-up as above - not the moving of the content.  That's what hopefully will be keeping me busy for the next year!

If any of my requests are not practical I'll still be happy to discuss the the ones that are!  :)

I'm told phpbbb 3 will do most of what I want once it's released.  I'm going to test the beta & post back if original plan still the way to go.
