Title: HELLP!!! Need help installing coppermine, I don't know what's going on!!?!

Hi. I recently uploaded coppermine to my server. My registrar is GoDaddy. I came to the setup page, and filled everything out. I made a seperate database for Coppermine, and entered in the info. When I click submit, it says there are errors in finding the database!
What's going on?
Please help!

My error message says:

MySQL error was : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2)

The error message actually means that something is fishy with your mysql database setup. Something that is not related to Coppermine. Something that only your webhost is capable to fix. That's why I suggested asking your webhost for support.
