Hello, I have a cpg who runs fine.
Yesterday, i've changed my hosting ( too short), & now i got a pb.
all works well, but when i want to use ftp upload, the link "ftp" ( searchnew.php) doesnt work.
about 15 sec after i click on the link, firefox want to download "searchnew.php", doesnt execute it ...
I've searched here, doesnt found an explanation.
Seems to be the only problem i've got, but its a bit ... complicated :p
helppp :) ty
notice : i've read the faq, try the upload via http, working, tried safe mode on / off, tried too : replace by fresh file "searchnew.php", ...
still doesnt work :/
well well well...
I tried several time. In fact, I have about 1500 photos in many folders.
It works perfectly when i put 10-12 folders ( 700 photos) but stop working & make the problem when i put a little more photos.
As I said, on the old server, was working ...
No idea ?
Resource restrictions imposed by your webhost.
It was that I think, but i find a strange way to work ...
When I just click on Batch, about 15 sec. & proposing dowload "searchnew.php"...
BUT !
If I use direct Minibrowser.php url ( like
"http://www.rx-photo.info/minibrowser.php?folder=%2Fweb%2Frxphoto%2Fwww%2Falbums%2F&parentform=choosefolder&formelementname=startdir&no_popup=1&limitfolder=/web/rxphoto/www/albums/&hidefolders=.,..,CVS,edit,userpics&linktarget=searchnew.php"
The page load with running searchnew.php browser, without header.
When I've select the folder with photos & press "ok", the header is back, searchnew.php too, for just one time. I can add, it works
The way is a bit strange, do u have an idea, with this new clues, to recover a standard use of ftp batch upload ?
I too ran into this same problem as soon as my gallery contained an aggregate of over ~700 pics; searchnew.php was resolving a blank page. I verified ownership, chmod, special chrs but nothing worked until I removed pics. For me it appears there's something my host is restricting. I found more threads on similar issues in the forum already and discovered a tip about the CPGMassimport plugin by Nibbler, Donnoman, Flux, and Paver. Not only did this provide me a solid workaround but this plugin is like "batch add" on steriods; it totally rocks!!!!
