Title: run the photo album from a cd
Post by: daniel5455 on June 03, 2007, 10:14:41 PM
Is it possible to edit the code where you can have the photo album run from a cd. I have over a thousand pictures that i would like to create a digital photo album but dont want it to be hosted on a server. I want to be able to run it from a cd. Any thoughts on this?

One of the Google Summer of Code projects is enabling offline viewing:

You could use the unsupported live-demo as well. However, if you don't have a coppermine gallery already, why don't you create a CD using tools dedicated to this purpose, e.g. Google's picasa or similar?

Coppermine is a web gallery. Using it on CD would be possible if you know your way around, however the main purpose of the script is to run it as a web gallery.
