Do you want to create a graphical sitemap or are the spots suppossed to be geo-coordinates of the places the pics were taken?

no, not a georeferenced map (I have seen that there are some work done in that respect)

what I want to do is to graphically represent the links/relationships between the files / users within a cpg gallery.
more like the internet maps that are around, I think I will be a very interesting graph.

I suggest using one of the free webmaster tools that are designed to accomplish something like this (I'm pretty sure that I already have come across tools that can do this, but I don't remember the name out of the back of my head, sorry) or using a graphical search engine (providing your site is relevant enough for the search engine to be spidered) like Kartoo (http://www.kartoo.com/).

thanks for the prompt response gaugau, the problem with spiders is that they ussually do no get inside the gallery, they just pickup links in the http://xxx.xx.xx format.

that is why I was wondering how to  do it.

if you happen to remember the name of the webmaster tool let me know.

cheers
