Title: view-counter
Post by: Ton on June 28, 2007, 08:23:52 AM
hi!

does somebody know why and how the view-counter underneath the main-page is suddenly showing less visits than some days before? When I had a figure of for example 240 some day the next day it showed 207.

thanks

With my mind-reader hat on, I can see that you did one of the following things:
1) You deleted some pics or albums - the corresponding hits are gone as well.
2) You accidentally reset the views counter for a particular album on the album properties screen

I wouldn't be concerned: 200+ hits is not what I would call a busy gallery...

thanks, and I was happy that you had your right cap!  :D  These hits could refer to a brand-brand new album by the way!  ;)

Indeed, still uploading and correcting but did not realize the link to every single photo, so was thinking about a counter for the entire album and not affected by single uploads/deletes!

I was only worried about stupid intruders fiddling around like last time I discovered that Googles' clicksearch put numerous links in a comment feature of only 2 photos!

Thanks again!
