Hi!
I have created a new usergroup called "Uploaders" with all the right permissions regarding uploading.
But when a user (in uploaders) tried to upload a pic, he/she get the message that "there isn´t any assigned albums to this group.." or something.
How can that be?
I´m almost 110% sure that all the setting are correct.
It would be great if someone could check it out.

"Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files "
You need to do one of the following:
1) Allow users to have personal albums
2) Create public albums that allow users to upload to them (in album properties).
This is the last time I am answering this question.

I have allready created a few public albums and assigned the user group "uploaders" to upload in all the albums.
But
WHY do i have to enable "personal albums" for this?
Thanks for your reply btw.

That is not what you do - you need to allow uploads to visitors in album properties.

Read my reply - I said one of the following, not both.

Of cource.. i have DONE that allready.
As i wrote in my first post, i HAVE all the right settings.
I thought that i needed to enable "private albums" as well, true/false?
False, that is an unrelated setting. Post a screenshot of the album properties page for the album you want to allow uploads to.

Here it is...
Did you at one point have private albums enabled and set 'album can be viewed by' for that album? If so then that is still being taken into account even when the feature itself is disabled. If this is the case then enable it again, remove the 'album can be viewed by' then disable it.

Not really sure what you mean.
But yes, i had "private albums" enabled at first, then i decided to turn it of.
BT-loader: you already have a nasty reputation. You have been told in the past that we won't tolerate your selfish behaviour any longer. Yet you blatantly chose to name this thread "Users can´t upload pics -bug?". Shouting "bug" is not a clever thing, as you accuse developers that way. This is the ultimate warning: review your attitude or get a permanent ban!

Can you please explain what you mean by that!? ???
I´m NOT selfish.
And since it worked before (before i decided to re-install it) to assign a usergroup to upload pictures, i asumed that it was a "bug".
It wasn´t mean as a bad thing for the developers.
I have changed the topic...
