Title: Header and Albums in file structure
Post by: rforster on July 03, 2007, 04:33:58 PM
Hi all,

I searched for a bit and saw a lot of stuff about integrating with phpBB and such. I just have a simple site and I am adding this gallery and have a couple of questions.

I have changed the general settings so the home link in cpg goes back to my main page. Later today I will add a link to end up at coppermine/index.php but realistically I need the header for my whole site to be the same. Any major issue with doing a header.php include above the cpg header?

Not sure I understand the file structure. I have only made one album so far and it looks like everything ended up in coppermine/albums. Is there a way to make it coppermine/albums/album_name so when I need to use an image or thumb it is easy to find?

Great project from what I can see. Hope I can make it work with my limited skillset.

---Thanks for the help,
Ron

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up.

That's what the custom header include path is for in Coppermine's config. Please read the docs.

That's exactly what will happen if you do as suggested in the docs and use FTP-uploads plus batch-add. You can have a nested file/folder structure there.

That is intended behaviour - we don't want sigs for newbies, as they have been abused for board spam. "0" would mean "unlimited", that's why we changed it to "1" char to make the field useless.
