Is it something to do with automatic IP banning if i have testet login name and password given to my members=?

does it help if i log on thru another computer?... Where can i then delete the banning..
I am the admin of the site..

Use a MySql utility such as phpmyadmin and open xxx_banned table and remove the record that user_id = 1

Our admin has moved on and is unavailable for support.  Unfortunately he is the only person that had the admin information. Will this reset the password to a default?  If so, how do I determine the default?  If not, how can I regain access as admin?
