First,
   Yes I have already gone through the FAQ and other documentation. All directories required are set to 777. I am out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Here is the debug info i receive. BTW, I can upload via ftp and via url. just not http.

Please Delete. I figured it out! the php.ini file had the wrong root directory for uploads.

I just started getting this error today! Admin Batch uploads working fine, all directories cmod to 777 - Was working fine yesterday!

Test User Account: Test
                           Test

This is also showing on the screen now:

No file was uploaded !
If you have really selected a file to upload, check that the server allows file uploads...

Wrong: test user account actually is "test" / "test" (mind the capitalization). Don't waste supporter's time trying to figure out such things.

Does the server allow uploads then?

Nobody asked for it.

Instead of doing as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs that we constantly have to refer to you decide to hijack someone else's thread. Not a bright idea. Stay out of this thread, read the upload troubleshooting section and start a thread of your own if you can't figure this out on your own.
