Just updated to version 1.4.12 today and checked how things were working. My video (wmv) and music (mp3) files don't seem to be working on ie 7. (Everything works fine on Firefox or Opera.) Anybody else getting this problem? The Media player shows up, but nothing plays.
Hard to suggest anything without a link to your gallery...
My apologies.

Thanks for any help
Again, I only have problems in Internet Explorer 7.

I must be blind. Where's that album ? Could you post a direct link ?

Sorry (again!) -- now it'll work with the coppermine username and password
Confirming that the mp3-file (http://paulmitchinson.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-817) doesn't play in IE7. Doesn't play in FF2 neither, although the embedded file (http://www.paulmitchinson.com/gallery/albums/Music/Johannes_Linstead_Caf%E9_Tropical_03_Streets_of_Old_San_Juan.mp3) exists and works fine. Quite frankly, I have no clue what could be wrong. The download link appears to work as expected as well.
It doesn't play in FF2 for you? It works in mine! (version 2.0.0.4) ??? This is truly weird -- and frustrating. Thanks for checking it out anyway. I was thinking it had something to do with the recent windows security updates I dolwnloaded, but I don't suppose that makes sense.
Please use versioncheck.php to find out if you have correctly upgraded all files.
Versioncheck seems to check out

There's a bunch of warnings to me about the unnecessary risks I'm taking by having a bunch of folders writable, rather than read/execute status, but I don't think that would be the problem.
I could do a clean upgrade again, if nothing else pans out. (This is the first time I've upgraded by writing over files instead of deleting everything and starting from scratch. What can I say? I got lazy.)
OK -- I think I figured it out.
The problem lies in the i-feel-dirty-2 theme. When I switch to the classic theme on my theme switcher, the media files run fine. So let me fiddle with that and post (when I'm ready) on the appropriate board when I figure it out.
Thanks for your patience.
