Title: coppermine installation problem
Post by: melobrinatic on March 14, 2004, 04:05:35 AM
I can't seem to put in the right "path" for where imagemagick is located on my system. I put the folder directly in my c drive folder so that the path is C:/ImageMagick-5.5.7-Q8... I put the "/" instead of "\" and there are no spaces in the path name.... but everytime i try to go through the installation it says that imagemagick cannot be found. This is a seemingly very simple task to just put in the path of the program but I can't seem to get past this step, can someone help me please?

Did you actually locate the convert program in the file trees? It may be under IMVersionetc/utilities/

Alternatively, if you allowed IM to set a path so that convert runs on the Windows command line, you may not need the path at all.

plus, you'll have to set permissions on the ImageMagick folder to allow the webserver to actually execute the convert.exe (r-x).
