Title: full size pictures to registered users only?
Post by: w2mt on July 23, 2007, 07:36:20 PM
where can i find the setting to make full-size pictures available only to registered users? guests should see only thumbnails and mid-size pictures.
also i would like to let guests send e-cards, right now only registered users can.
how can i do those things? thanks!

There is a plugin in the plugin pack ( http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658 (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658) ) that does this. Install the pack then select the "Full-Size Photos Access Control v1.2 by Paver " plugin and you now get the optiond to allow access to the full size pics.

Thank you for your suggestion Phil. However, it would be overkill to install the plugin pack just to get the one plugin needed. Don't install the pack, but go directly to "Full-Size & Intermediate Photos Access Control (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=25010.0)" and get the plugin (contributed by Paver) from there. Install it as suggested in the plugin section of the docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#plugin).

No plugin needed - reading the documentation (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#group_cp) is all that is needed: you will find the correspoding option on coppermine's groups page.
