Ok went through the read me file on installing coppermine and doing the database part and got this error message:
"mySQL Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '/cpg1411_sessions ( session_id varchar(40) NOT NULL default on query ' CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS coppermine_gallery/cpg1411_sessions ( session_id varchar(40) NOT NULL default '', user_id int(11) default '0', time int(11) default NULL, remember int(1) default '0', PRIMARY KEY (session_id) ) TYPE=MyISAM COMMENT='Used to store sessions''
I need help, please, what is going wrong, I have no clue on any of this?

1) Don't shout at us, and use a better subject next time you start a thread.
2) Posting a link to your gallery might be a good start.
3) Make sure that you fullfill the minimum requirements
4) Get a fresh copy of your coppermine package (most recent stable release is cpg1.4.12), unzip it and re-upload it. Then try gain.
Your not a real friendly administrator, wow. Didn't mean to shout just in need of some help real fast, boss is on me and needs this in a hurry and was told that Coppermine was the best of the best. ???
I have went through and have all the req needed.
Fresh copy, I just downloaded it early this morning version 1.4.12 <- Newest one that I could find

have you tried to reinstall coppremine after erasing all the files and all the coppermine content from your database ?
Yes, I have tried uninstalling everything, reinstalling everything and still getting the same weird error.
That was one of the first things I did, thought I might have installed somthign wrong on frogot a CHMODE on one but everything is set right.
Any ideas anyone?
What did you set as the MySQL prefix? If you don't understand what it is leave it as the default.

Writing in all uppercase is considered as shouting. Being shouted at is what I would call "not friendly".
