Title: How do I remove references to a non-existing album/userpic/ directory?
Post by: doctorjellybean on August 11, 2007, 05:32:33 PM
Due to a server meltdown, I had to re-upload Coppermine and connect to the existing database. There are references to a pic in a gallery which doesn't exist. When I (or the owner) try to delete the non-existing picture, we get the following message:

Directory 'albums/userpics/10002/' is not writable, files can't be deleted

The directory 10002 doesn't exist, so I guess thats why we get that message. Can it be solved by uploading another pic into that gallery/album, or by creating an empty 10002 folder? Or is there a different solution?

Thank you.

Either create an empty folder or search the board for the workaround.

I created an empty 10002 folder, and it did the trick. Thank you.

I did perform a search, and the results appeared to focus on permissions. My permissions are correct, as I performed it myself.
