I have some SWF files elsewhere on my site, which I would like have displayed in Coppermine? Is there a way of linking to it, or do I have to upload them via Coppermine?

Coppermine doesn't support remote storage. You have three options:

• use bbcode to create links
• use a third-party plugin. The MiniCMS comes to mind
• If you're on a Lunix-driven server and have enough control over it, create a symlink to the location from within your albums folder to the folder where the files are stored and batch-add them - this will avoid redundant file storage

I'll look into the MiniCMS plugin, and after having read the documentation, I might create a special folder within the albums directory, move the SWF files in there and batch-add them.
