Title: Need help regarding CPGMassImport
Post by: Glapsides on August 22, 2007, 08:02:07 AM
Hello all,

I need instructions for CPGMassImport. It confuses me. Here is what I did:

Opened my FTP client

Browsed to gallery/albums/

Created two directories inside gallery/albums/ named: Test and Test_1

Created two sub-directories under Test folder named 1 and 2

Created two sub-directories under Test_1 folder named 4 and 3

Then I ran CPGMassImport on my gallery. Results? Two top-level categories were created, which were Test and Test_1. Four albums were created, which were 1,2,3, and 4. However, 1 and 2 weren't nested under Test on my gallery, neither were 3 and 4 nested under Test_1 on my gallery. Is this how it is supposed to happen? Shall I just move the albums to respective categories through their "properties'?

The real question is: Are there detailed instructions on how to use this plugin?

Support is given from the board where CPGMassImport is being developped.

Here you'll find some good starting points: http://cpg-contrib.org/board/index.php?topic=184.0 (http://cpg-contrib.org/board/index.php?topic=184.0)

Thanks for the response, I'll be heading there now with a duplicate of this thread. By the way, most of those "good starting point" threads are directed to MiniCMS, and not CPGMassImport. No prob though, thanks again.
