Title: Is it possible to exclude videos from Random files/Last additions on Index page?
Post by: doctorjellybean on August 24, 2007, 10:42:43 AM
I would like just to have the thumbnails of images displayed on the index page, and not the video thumbnails. If the user want to see what videos there are, he has to go to the Video category and see the thumbnails there.

Is this possible?

Thank you.

There are plugins/mods for this - search the board.

I did but unfortunately found no plugins/mods for this. I'll download the plugin mega pack and have a look n there.

Thank you.

Don't! Downloading the plugin pack is not an option for that purpose. Search the board instead. Rephrase your search terms.

On second thoughts, it might be impossible to achieve what I want. I'm using custom thumbnails for the videos, and since they are jpegs (the same as ordinary images), it may not be possible. Perhaps it would be better to exclude the custom video directory (if possible) from the Random files/Last additions on the index page?

Yes it's possible - search the board.

Apologies.

I've tried searching with different parameters, and somehow it doesn't provide the answers I'm looking for. So perhaps I best leave it as it is, it is really no big deal.

Thank you anyway for your replies.
