I have been searching the forums for an answer to this but I am not having much luck.
Is there a way to include the same file in multiple albums?

I added some files to an album using the batch add. When I try to use the batch add again to insert those same files into another albums I get the DP error. (DP : means that the file is a duplicate and is already in the database)

Any help would be appreciated.

I found the answer to my question in the FAQ page. I should have looked their first...

By using Keyword feature you can have a file on multiple albums
