I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and SMF:
Users who are not the 'normal registered user' on SMF cannot view the upload / create album links. They simply are not visible.
I have created a group for members who have donated to the club. They are of the group type: "donating member". However unfortunately
as I mentioned above they cannot see the links to upload or create / edit albums. When I set them back to a standard registered user it works without any issues.
I tried searching for the forums but didn't quite find a problem like this.
My Details are:
Coppermine install: http://www.viczcar.com/gallery/
Forum install: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: SMF 1.1.2
Test user account: maria / soccer20
Need any other details?
Re-run bridge manager, enable post-based groups.
Thanks for the response.
User based posting is set to 1 from 0 but still no change.
Please take a screenshot of coppermine's groups panel and attach it to your posting (using "additinal options" when composing your message).
Hi GauGau,
I feel like a goose but I didn't realise I had to set permissions there once I set user based posting from 0 to 1.
It appears the problem is now fixed, thanks for the help.
Thanks for returning and resolving your thread. It's not easy to admit a fault - you did, which is fine. For others with similar issues, read up the corresponding section of the docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#integrating_steps_sync_start):
QuoteIt's mandatory that you (as admin) go to the groups page directly after bridging or whenever you change anything in your bridging configuration or if you change anything in your groups settings on your bbs, as you need to trigger the re-sync.
