Post by: romaruss on September 25, 2007, 04:51:43 PM
hi, i've just installed coppermine 1.4 bridged by Jommla CMS.
i'd give permission on album to many groups of user and give to an user more than one group.

You can only assign permissions to one group, not to multiple groups. As a workaround, create another group in the app you bridged with (Joomla in your case), add the members of those groups that are supposed to have access to your new group, save your changes, revisit coppermine's groups page to trigger a sync, the go to the album properties page and assign permissions to the newly created group. That's the only way to circumvent the limitation of permissions on album level. Might of course be tricky if you have a lot of users, groups and albums.

uhm....
ins't there a MOD?
is this a problem that occours only with integrated coppermine?
i've installed coppermine some month ago not integrating it. is it possible that in alone-mode the users' and permissions' guestures is better?

No, applies to standalone coppermine installs as well.

No, same principle applies: album permissions can only be assigned to one group.
