To clarify what Sami suggested: this isn't something coppermine specific, but just a matter of setting cookies up. Dots are not allowed in cookie names. If you have no idea about those naming conventions, then leave the name alone and set it back to how it was set as default when you installed coppermine for the first time. After all, the cookie name is not important to the end user, as he will never see it.
