When I batch add videofiles with thumbs only a few files get thumbs.

Naming:
Best_Of_Stocking_Secrets_Scene_0001.wmv
thumb_Best_Of_Stocking_Secrets_Scene_0001.jpg
I have no problems when I batch add pictures.

if the file extension is all caps, then also try using all caps for the thumb
Best_Of_Stocking_Secrets_Scene_0001.WMV (it's case sensitive... so you haven't posted the correct filename)
thumb_Best_Of_Stocking_Secrets_Scene_0001.JPG
Problem solved.
Every thing works perfect now.
That is: Either uppercase or lowercase for both files extension.
